Plastic society
If you observe closely, you will see that their mannequins do not have a soul and they look as if they were aware of it.
This is a series about a society that tries to stop us from really looking at ourselves; a society that turns self-love into a taboo.
Needless to say that the plastic society we live in wants to make us artificial. It is a plastic society because it is of bad quality and it lacks substance. Because it’s ephemeral and empty on the inside, but, at the same time, it can be very harmful, even destructive.
This is a series about the contrast between the society-imposed rules of perfection and beauty and the actual perfection and beauty of human beings. It is about the fact that we must never look at ourselves through the filter of somebody else.
